AMD companies’ newest and latest quad-core processor was released in the market. Tandemed with a new memory tool named 'Black Edition Memory Profiles', or B.E.M.P.’, 3.2GHz AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition is what every PC enthusiasts look for.

This are specially designed for those who just simply love PC components and the newest technology that can enhance a PC’s abilities and capabilities. Every enthusiast can then bet that 955 BE can be overclocked by  PCSTATS provided that its unlocked multiplier will allow. Several cmpanies have already made editions that could entice PC enthusiasts with CPU’s that features unlock multipliers. The companies goal in producing this Phenom II processor is for you to have a convenient and easy as possible transition of socket. From older socket AM2 and AM2+ computers to motherboards which are AM3 CPUs and DDR3-based. Since it is compatible with both the DDR2 and DDR3 memory, you can drop it into the AM2+ motherboards’ socket as a convenient upgrade.  This processor have a 6MB of shared L3 cache, and 512KB of L2 cache for each of the four cores it has. AMD’s Phenom II quad-core transparently emphasizes a bigger L3 cache for the core’s individual L2 cache to become smaller and thus, able to process faster. This way, processor core will not trip over each other when waiting to search through a larger, shared L2 cache.

Even if the clockspeed increased, thankfully the overall heat levels of the Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition remained the same. This means that there are many more overclocking activities that can take place before  the heat becomes an issue.
